Day 1: ARRIVE KOCHI – MUNNAR

ARRIVE KOCHI – MUNNAR

Morning arrival at Kochi International airport, meet and assist by our representative and drive to Munnar hill station (around 3 ½ to 4-hour drive). En-route you will stop at Cheeyapara waterfalls for a short break.

Munnar is arguably the ideal starting point for exploring the unfathomable diversity and beauty of Kerala, and it is a hill station - breathtakingly beautiful - a haven of peace and tranquillity - the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. Set at an altitude of 6000 ft. in Idukki district, Munnar was the favoured summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days.

Day 2: MUNNAR

Early morning proceeds for a trek from the resort to Pallivasal Mottu one the peak point here. The view from here is an amazing experience.

Proceed to visit Tea Factory Museum in the town to see how tea is manufactured from Tea leaves. Then you will visit Eravikulam National Park and Tea Factory museum.

Eravikulam National Park : A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr. The Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq. km in the Rajamalai hills. Anamudi, the highest peak (2695 m) south of the Himalayas, towers over the sanctuary in majestic pride. The slopes of the hills abound in all kinds of rare flora and fauna. The Atlas moth, the largest of its kind in the world, is a unique inhabitant of the park. Other rare species of fauna found here are the Nilgiri Langur, the lion-tailed macaque, leopards, tigers, etc.

Day 3: MUNNAR

MUNNAR

Early morning after breakfast proceed to visit the Echo point, Mattupetty Dam.

Mattupetty Dam : It is a very beautiful picnic spot. You can take a walk on the dam and admire the beauty. The lake also has boating, and various kinds of pedal and motorboats are available for hire. If you are lucky then you can spot some elephants on the banks. There are lots of birds for bird watching enthusiasts.

Day 4: MUNNAR - KUMARAKOM

MUNNAR - KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kumarakom (150 km/4 hrs.)

On arrival check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 5: KUMARAKOM

Morning after breakfast and rest of the time is free for Leisure. Evening proceed for 2 hours Evening Sunset Cruise through the backwaters of Kumarakom.

Later transfer back to hotel.

Day 6: KUMARAKOM – KOVALOM

Morning after breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kovalom (180 km/4 ½ hrs.).

Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing.

The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse. Sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes and catamaran cruising are some of them.

On arrival check in to the hotel and relax. rest of the time is free for leisure at hotel.

Day 7: KOVALOM

Morning after breakfast at the hotel, Rest of the day is free to explore at beach.

Morning after breakfast at the hotel. On time check out from the hotel and transfer to airport for your flight back home.
